Customer Service is non existent

I ordered something was not stocked in their stores or by Rocklers. I tried to pay the additional shipping when I ordered this item. I was told no I will not have to pay the additional shipping. Rocklers says it sent me an email asking for the additional shipping. I do not know where they sent it but I ddid not receive it. I did get the order cancelation email. My project is now about 2 weeks behind schedule. There is a reason that we have spent 1/20th the amount with rocklers this year than we have with one of their competitors. Avoid them if you can.

Their Customer Service is non existant

I ordered an item not stocked in the stores or by Rocklers. I went to our local store to order. I told them that I would need to pay additional freight. No I was assured. Rocklers claims they sent an email asking for the additional freight. I do not know where they sent it but I did not get it. I did get the email canceling the order. I am now 2 weeks behind on the project. There is a reason why in the last year we have spent 1/20th the amount with Rocklers than with one of their competitors. If you can avoid them do so. If not expect poor service.

No Air conditioning at the Kennesaw, GA store for months

Been into the Kennesaw GA store a few times over the past couple months and their A/C has been broken. Can't stand going in there any longer, way too hot and feel sorry for their employees who have to work in those conditions all day. They keep telling me corporate is working on it but doesn't sound like they are working on it too hard.

Mirka sandpaper will not stay adhered!

I purchased a 10 pack of Mirka Garnet sandpaper from Rockler. Looked like a great product. I also purchased a new hook and loop sanding pad for my Frstool 125 5” sander. SANDPAPER FLIES OFF A NEW PAD. Worthless product - do not buy. Will not adhere for more than two minutes.

Rockler has gone way DOWNHILL

Steer clear of Rockler, especially their wood slabs. I really thought if there was someone I could trust to sell me a decent slab it would be Rockler. Wrong. I ordered this $179 slab (+ $20 to ship) and it arrived with a big gouge in the side and was so twisted warped it's almost useless. I requested a return and they said our site says " may ship with or without bark. We would not consider this defective." The no bark was not the issue. The gouge and the twisted slab are the issue. This junk should have been made into kindling to start a nice campfire up there in MN. I spent all day trying to get return info. Finally got it and found out it will cost me $53 to return via UPS. That on top of the extra $20, I have decided it's not worth it. Plus, they will just sell it to somebody else who will be very unsatisfied. It's obvious they don't care too much. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with Rockler, my friends as well. No more. Really too bad.

Rockler-Unprofessional at Best

I attempted to purchase a bench from Rockler online, and immediately had problems. Initially, my order was put on hold because they claimed my address was incorrect for my payment method. I double checked with Rockler and it was indeed entered correctly, so was told to get in contact with my bank. I contacted my bank, and once again the address was correct, so called Rockler back again. After having a conversation with a very terse customer service agent, I thought I finally had the payment go through and was on my way to receiving my bench. The initial lead time would have been 2 months, but seeing as I wasn't in a rush I went along with it. I waited until the month my bench was supposed to arrive, and lo and behold my order had apparently not gone through, but also I never received any notification that the order had been cancelled. Final analysis: incredibly rude customer service agents, lack of transparency on lead times, substandard communication. Save yourself some time and buy your woodworking tools from a more reputable source.

What a terrible company!

I ordered a box of 1 5/8" trim screws. The box arrived, not terribly quickly; and although marked as 1 5/8" the screws were 1".

I informed Rockler and got in a negative feedback loop. Rather than just send the correct screws (and check their supply), Rockler requested pictures, which, when sent, were rejected by their system. I decided to blow it off, I don't need $100 worth of aggravation over $10 worth of screws. What a terrible company.

I hope this helps people know the integrity of rockler,, i recently put a item in my cart to buy from rockler online,,, and after i went to the checkout to pay for it,, it came up that i had a gift card and it included it in the price,, which reduced the price,, well i waited about 2 weeks before i actually decided on getting the item,,, when i went to pay for it,, needless to say the gift card and the amount was still in my cart which is 72.00,,, i ten went tru the process of ordering it and it poped up on the screen saying gift card was no good,, now the people at rockler are saying this was a glitch in internet ordering,,,, so basically i just got cheated out of 72.00,,, personally i would not buy anything from a company thats as shady and dishonest as rockler,,, i know that amazon at times are higher than other places,, and amazon does sell rockler,, but if i wanted it i would pay the difference and buy it from amazon,,,,, trust me,,, i have delt with amazon and they do satisfy the customer,, even if its a loss to them,,, and the lady i spoke too at rockler was supposed to be a supervisior,, her name was julie staples,,, which at this writing i have tried to get in touch with her twice before now... i can understand about a glitch in the computer system,, but at that point rockler should be held responsible for it,,, i know that when you buy from amazon,,, that if the mistake was on there end,, they look out after their customers,, so in closing,, if you want a product that rockler sells,, buy it from amazon,, they will not cheat you and do take responsible for what they sell or your purchases,,,,, unlike rockler which has no integerity or business ethics whatsoever

Billing issues.

On 10/21 I ordered a 3 piece Engineer's square set. I received it 10 days later and was happy it came so quickly. The problem lies is when I was billed for it. I received the bill for the squares on my February credit card statement. Isn't four months a little excessive for billing?
I could see 1 month for billing but four months! I run a business and I bill my customers on a monthly basis. This is not the first time this is happened. Rockler should step up and correct this issue promptly.
